I can connect with the ways in which I/we as a society tend to push aside our "weaker links" and not really focus on how much they need us nor how much we need them. For most of us, we may be just a few wrong turn away from their reality. Is that what we want to stay away from? We don't want to see them because they are a mirror of a part of us, of a possible future? Something for me to ponder on. Your post was very touching for me.
